The central warehouse ships retail outlets throughout Switzerland some 6000-10,000 pallets of food daily. Especially in peak times, the delivery area is dense with ready shipments.

To ensure each delivery reaches its destination, the retailer Genossenschaft Migros Ostschweiz (Migros) has decided to apply RFID on its RTIs (returnable transport items), mostly plastic totes used for the deliveries. Our presentation will discuss the various RFID use cases at Migros.
