Hydropower generators are exposed to severe environment conditions where RFID sensor tags can help optimizing the output of such generators by measuring temperature and strain when no other sensor method would work. This is just one example of the potential of passive RFID sensing. This session will provide an overview on use cases and technologies for RFID sensing both passive and active.
