Tobias Dräger

Tobias Draeger comes from the Erlangen region and studied electrical engineering at the Friedrich-Alexander University there, specializing in automation technology/sensor technology. Since completing his studies in 2007, he has been working at the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS, focusing on RFID technology and its application, embedded hardware, and radio transmission technologies.

In 2018, he took over the management of the group "RFID and inductive sensor systems" which, in addition to the topics of embedded hardware, contactless energy and data transmission, LTE-Cat NB1 and RFID, also deals with the topic of inductive near-field localization IndLoc®. One focus is also the consulting of companies on the topic of IoT.
